Wrapping film quick pass card

Coil wrap film, also known as stretch film, is primarily made from linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE). It has inherent adhesive properties and can be stretched. It is mainly used to tightly bundle goods on pallets into a single unit, making transportation and storage more convenient.

What are the advantages? Tn here are mainly a few points:

    • High level of protection: waterproof, dustproof, and resistant to loosening, which also helps prevent damage to the cargo from scratches and abrasions.
    • Durable and secure: exhibits strong tensile and retraction forces, excellent tear- and puncture-resistance, and can secure cargo with sharp edges.
    • Cost savings: Compared to cardboard boxes or heat-shrinkable film, this method significantly reduces packaging costs.

How are they categorized? It mainly depends on their usage:

    • Manual-operated wrapping film: Operated by hand, with low requirements for tensile strength. Each roll weighs lightly (approximately 4-5 kg).
    • Machine-use wrapping film: Designed for use with machinery. It requires high tensile strength and elongation rate (elongation rate up to 300%). Each roll is relatively heavy (about 15 kg).

How to choose? Focus on these key factors:

    • Consider the width: Hand tools typically range from 300mm to 500mm, while machine tools usually have a width of 500mm.
    • Check the thickness: It typically ranges from 15μm to 50μm.
    • Determine the adhesive properties: there are single-sided and double-sided adhesives.
    • Look at the raw material: It’s made from metallocene polyethylene (MPE). Its performance is generally superior to that of regular polyethylene.
